Gyan Ganga International School, Jabalpur or GGIS (as it is popularly known) is a reputed, English medium, co-ed, day boarding cum residential, senior secondary school affiliated to CBSE and managed by Shri Wardhaman Vidya Vihar Educational Academy.
The school is conveniently located on Bheraghat road on an elevated lush green site spread in 15 acres, with professionally designed building, and beautifully managed lawns and gardens for tranquility. Academics
Gyan Ganga International School is an English medium, senior secondary, self sustained school imparting education from Kindergarten to Senior Secondary level, with its curriculum based on CBSE pattern. All the classes of the school are smart classes equipped with advanced hi-tech teaching aids like 42 inch Plasma Monitor, LCD & overhead projectors. The school believes in interactive teaching to stimulate young minds and to make learning easy and enjoyable. The specially designed curriculum consists of 3-D live modules accompanied with personalized teaching-learning plan and e-learning makes learning easy for the future generation of our country. The school conducts monthly PTAs for monitoring and discussing the progress and problems of students.
Infrastructure
The specialty of the school is that each class is equipped with modern equipments like Plasma screens, internet, PA system and projectors, which makes them capable of being used as language lab, audio/visual lab, E-classes or a E-library at any point of time. Its hi-tech Physics, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories labs are equipped with all modern instruments and are assisted by its highly qualified science faculty for imparting practical training to students. The two computer labs with 40 computers each and interconnected through LAN offer an opportunity to get acquainted with latest technology and information. Its Art and Craft Workshop is unique as it provides a platform to students to display their creativity and imagination with the assistance of professionally trained artist in the field of painting, drawing, sketching, sculpture etc. Social Science Laboratory of the school is equipped with dynamic and static models besides 3D models, Maps etc for research oriented projects and assignments. The well stocked E- Library keeps on acquiring latest titles besides its vast collection of 15,000 books and CDs on a variety of topics like literature, encyclopedias, reading materials of interests, course books, tales from epics and pictorials, besides latest soft wares. The school has separate residential quarters for senior & junior boys and girls, which have comfortable, fully furnished and fully ventilated dormitories, in-house hospital of ten beds, hygienic vegetarian mess, Water Purification Plants for safe drinking water, water boilers, laundry service and a tight security service round the clock.
Games and Sports
Swimming Pool: - It has two swimming pools equipped with latest filtration plants. One full length pool for seniors, which has held so many competitions and a small pool for small children with specially trained staff for giving swimming lessons, as swimming, is compulsory for every student of the school. School students have won many prizes in the state level swimming competitions. It has five Volleyball / Basket ball courts equipped with latest lighting facilities.
The school has a big playground which doubles up as a cricket or a football ground. It has separate courts for Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton and Kho-Kho, Athletics, Huge lush green playgrounds for Football and Hockey besides standard facilities for Indoor games like Table tennis, Chess, Carom etc.
The school lays equal emphasis on Adventure Sports, Yoga and Meditation. Participation in adventure sports like horse riding, Para sailing, Rifle shooting, Judo, Karate, Whusu and Martial art is encouraged.
Co-curricular Activities
For multi faceted development of students, the school encourages participation of students in various activities such as Foreign Language Clubs, yoga, meditation, painting, acting, quiz, music, dance, Eco Club, Science Club, Hobby Club, Cultural Club, Junior Artist Club, Chamber of Commerce, Inter-House Competitions, Essay writing, debates, extempore, speech , singing, dance, mono acting to stimulate creativity, Wall Magazine display competitions, Independence Day and Republic Day Celebrations, Celebration of all festivals like Krishna Janmashtami, Teacher's Day, Children's Day, Christmas, New Year, Holi, Ram Navmi , Mahashivratri, Pongal, Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dashehra, Deepawali, Onam, Weekly inter-house competitions, Exhibitions. The school also organizes periodic excursions and educational trips for all round development of students.
Admission
The school admits children from all walks of life without any discrimination from STD I to IX and XI by a mandatory admission test based on the syllabus of the qualifying class. It does not admit students to X & XII. Foreign students are allowed to apply for admission to class IV- VII only. Application forms, available at school website/City office & School campus, completely filled accompanied with registration fees and photocopy of the report card of the qualifying class should be submitted for the registration.

1. Passport size color photograph- 6 copies,
2. Completely filled Application and admission form.
3. Non-refundable Registration fee in form of Demand draft payable at Jabalpur or local Account payee cheque in favor of Gyan Ganga International School,
4. Transfer Certificate/ Birth Certificate: - counter signed T.C. by the concerned authority
5. Photo copies of the previous year Report Card
6. Character certificate by the Principal of previous school.
