PAHUNT is the acronym for Pre-Agriculture, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga Entrance Test. As the name suggest PAHUNT is the test conducted by MP PEB for entrance to colleges in Madhya Pradesh offering the courses BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS. The date of exam for PAHUNT is not fixed, but usually this test is conducted in july – august every year. PAHUNT is conducted only in 4 cities of Madhya Pradesh: Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore and Jabalpur.
PAHUNT Eligibity Criteria
- To appear for the MP PAHUNT, the candidate should have passed 10+2 from MP Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent board of education recognized by MP Government. Candidates should have secured an aggregate of atleast 50%(40% for reserved categories) in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidate should be pass in all the three subjects separately too.
- For candidates appearing in PAHUNT for admission to the course BUMS should have passed 10+2 from MP Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent board of education recognized by MP Government. Candidates should have PCB(compulsorily pass in all the 3 subjects) as the compulsory subjects and should have secured an average of atleast 50 %(40% for SC/ST/OBC). Apart from this they should also have learned Urdu(candidates should be pass in Urdu) as a subject either in 12th std or 10th std from MP board schools or should have passed some other exam for Urdu language from an institute recognised by MP government or MP Board of Secondary Education.
- It is mandatory for all the candidates appearing for PAHUNT to have studied English as a language in 10+2.
- The age limit for writing PAHUNT is atleast 17 years as on 31st Dec of the year of examination.
- The candidate should be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh for admission to government and government aided colleges. However, for private colleges candidates from anywhere in India can apply.
