Bhadwai Village of Madhya Pradesh is Aamir Khan's 'Peepli Live'

Aamir Khan Production's Peepli Live is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the year. One of the big reasons behind it is Aamir's reputation as a star who tries to do something different as an actor as well as producer. His produced 3 films namely Lagaan, Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na and Taare Zameen Pe, all were different from one another. Now he is coming up with 'Peepli Live', another film based on the rural background and directed by a débutante Anusha Rizvi.

The fact which can make every Madhya Pradesh resident proud is that the film has been shot in Bhadwai Village of the state. Both, producer Aamir Khan and director Anusha Rizvi wanted to film this movie in a natural setting and so decided to shoot it in a real village. One of the very interesting fact about the film is that there are no extras from the village in it. The crew just captured villages engaged in their day to day life and put it on the celluloid. Even the song 'Mehengai dayan' has been rendered by the local folk singers along with actor Raghuveer Yadav. If the film gets success at the box office then it would definitely put Bhadwai village of Madhya Pradesh on India's map. Peepli Live is going to be released on 13th of August in India.
