Location: -
Situated in approximately the central part of the state, Kanha National Park is about 175 km from Jabalpur, the nearest station from the stupendous National Park.

Famous - It is basically famous for the best TIGER RESERVE. It is toatally well maintained national park in Asia.

Area covered by Kanha National Park: - 1,945 sq km

Altitude (Above MSL) of Kanha National Park: - 600m to 900 m

History of Kanha National Park
• It is said that Kanha National Park was the one which inspired the great author, Rudyard Kipling to go for his novel, 'Jungle Book'.
