The timings for visitors to the Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh vary depending on the seasons. While the Park is completely closed during the monsoon season, the timings during other seasons depend on the daylight hours.
1. Timings of Kanha National Park from October 1st to February 15th: Sunrise to 12noon / 1500 hrs. to sunset.

2. Timings of Kanha National Park from February 16th to April 15th: Sunrise to 12noon / 1600 hrs. to sunset.

3. Timings of Kanha National Park from April 16th to June 30th: Sunrise to 11a.m. / 1700hrs. to sunset.

In addition to the excursion in the jeep, you can enjoy looking out for tigers while perched on an elephant with its mahut. As such, there are no fixed timings for the elephant safaris in the Kanha National Park. The jeep driver will take you to the particular site in the Park from where you can mount the elephant, if available at that time, and go tiger spotting. There are separate fees (no guide fees) for this trip:
1. Fees for Indian citizens: Rs. 100/- per person.

2. Fees for Foreigners: Rs. 600/- per person.
