Panna Tiger Reserve is a famous tiger reserve spread over the Panna and Chattarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh towards the northern side. Panna National park is situated on the Vindhyan Range and forms one of the most prominent ecological belts of Madhya Pradesh. The forest is spread over an area of 543 square miles, but the actual undisturbed habitat of the forest which lies on the Hinouta Plateau is spread over 80 square miles. The location of Panna Tiger Reserve is exclusive as it is a continued forest belt towards the south within the Cape Comorin.
