The School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal is inviting applications for the Admissions 2011 for its Doctoral Program in Architecture and Planning and Masters Program in Urban and Regional Planning and Architecture (Urban Design).

Admissions to Doctoral and Masters Program at SPA Bhopal

School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal is an autonomous institute, established by the Government of India in the year 2008. This institute is particularly dedicated for courses in Architecture and Planning.
SPA Bhopal is inviting applications for admission to its Doctoral and Masters Program for the session starting in July 2011.

Doctoral Program in Architecture and Planning, SPA Bhopal
According to the present needs of the environmental sustenance, the school had designed an interdisciplinary and independent research program. The doctoral/research program provided an environment where the base is made strong with the theoretical concepts and at the same time emphasis is laid on the application of the knowledge for developing solutions that focuses on settlements and habitat related issues.
Eligibility: Candidate should posses a masters degree in Planning/ Architecture with a good academic record.

Masters Program in Architecture (Urban Design), SPA Bhopal
This is a 2 year full time program which is organized into 4 semesters. The program is designed to provide knowledge to students for invention of newer approaches to solve the problems and issues of urbanity in Asian cities.
Eligibility: Candidate should posses a B. Arch degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

Masters Program in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning), SPA Bhopal
The Urban Regional Planning program at SPA, Bhopal is a 2 year full time Post Graduate Degree program which is designed to develop planning professionals. The main work of these professionals is to assist organizations in find innovative solutions for the urbanization of cities and regions in India.
Eligibility: The candidates must possess a minimum of 55% aggregate in B. Arch/B. Plan or B.E in Civil Engineering or M. Sc / M.A in Geography / Economics / Sociology.

Fellowships for Doctoral and Master Programs at SPA Bhopal
The Institute offers fellowships to its full time candidates in both the doctoral and masters programs. To be eligible for the same the candidates require a valid Gate Score or Government/Non – Government Fellowship/Scholarship. Candidates not having the above mentioned requirements can also be considered for the institute's fellowship, if they have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

The sale of application forms and information brochure begins from 25th April 2011 on a cash payment of Rs.100/-. The application forms are also available online at the official website of SPA Bhopal.
