MITS Gwalior is a Govt. aided autonomous college which comes under the state technical university RGPV,Bhopal. The institute offers a wide range of Under graduate and Post graduate courses in Engineering and Technology.
MITS Gwalior is inviting applications from eligible students for admission to M.E/M.Tech session 2011 – 2012 for the following branches:

Full Time Courses:

Bio Technology department :

M. Tech. Biotechnology

Computer Science and Engineering department :

M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

Electronics department :

M.E. Communication Control & Networking

M. Tech Microwave( E & C) Engineering

Electrical department :

M.E. Measurement & Controls

M.E. Industrial Systems and Drives

Mechanical department :

M. Tech. Material Handling

M. Tech. Production Engineering

Civil department :

M.E. Structural Engineering

M.E. Construction Technology & Management

M.E. Public Health Engineering

Architecture department :

M. Architecture in Urban Management

Part Time Courses:

Civil department :

M.E. Structural Engineering

M.E. Construction Technology & Management

Mechanical department :

M. Tech. Material Handling

Note: For part time courses, students who are residing within a range of 40 km from the Institute should only apply.

The institute allows sponsored candidates to apply for part time courses. However, they are required to have an experience of atleast 2 years in the relevant field. Also they should apply through proper channel.

Eligibility criteria for admission to M.E/M.Tech courses at MITS Gwalior

The qualifications required for the courses are B.E/B.Tech in concerned branches or AIME for Civil and Mechanical branches. The minimum marks of 55% in B.E/B.Tech or AIME with equivalent grade.

Admission procedure for admission in MITS Gwalior

The candidates should send in the duly filled applications at the below mentioned address along with a demand draft of Rs.750/- (SC/ST – Rs.400/-) drawn in favour of "Director MITS, Gwalior" Payable at Gwalior.

The student should have qualified GATE 2011. Non- GATE students can also apply but preference would be given to the former ones.
All the students who wish to apply for more than one course in the same department should submit single application form mentioning their preference.

No separate interview or entrance exam call will be send to the candidates. For verification candidates are required to bring along their original certificates.

The list of selected candidates would be put up on the same day and the candidates will have to pay Rs.10,000/- (non – refundable) towards the course fees. The rest of the balance can be paid within the next 7 days. Failing to the deposit of the said amount the student's candidature would be cancelled and the students in waiting list would be given the chance.

Dates of Interview and Entrance Exam:

For Biotechnology, Civil and Electronics: 16th June 2011
For Electrical, Mechanical, Computers & Architecture: 17th June 2011

The last date of submission of completed application is 10th June 2011

Classes will commence from 4th July 2011.
