Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior is recruiting candidates for the below mentioned posts. All the posts are purely on contract basis for the academic session 2011-2012 i.e for 10 months.
Mentioned below are the details of the walk-in interview for various posts along with the eligibility criteria, no. of posts and pay band.
a. Date of Walk-in interview : 24th June 2011
Department : Physical Education Pedagogy
Positions : 1. Lecturers in Athletics, Handball, Basketball, Kho-Kho,
Gymnastics, Judo, Hockey,Swimming, Yoga(no. of posts 2),
Badminton.
Education qualifications: NET or Ph.D or Master's Degree in
Physical Education with specialisation in relevant
game/discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
Offered Salary: Rs.23,000/- per month
2. Instructor in Computer Science
Education qualification: M.E/M.Tech or M.C.A
Offered Salary: Rs.20,000/-p.m
3. Hardware Co-ordinator
Education Qualification: B.E /B.Tech /B.C.A/Diploma in Comp.
Hardware or an experience of 2 yrs in hardware maintenance.
Offered Salary: Rs.15,000/-p.m
b. Date of Walk-in interview : 24th June 2011
Department : Sports Coaching
Positions : Coaches in Athletics, Handball, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball and
Football.
2 posts are available for all the above games expect for basketball
where only 1 position is vacant.
Education qualifications: Master's Degree in Physical Education
with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks OR
P.G Diploma/ Diploma in Coaching in the respective
game/discipline
Offered Salary: Rs.20,000/- per month.
c. Date of Walk-in interview : 25th June 2011
Department : Health Science and Yoga
Positions :1. Lecturers in Yoga ( 4 posts)
Education qualifications: NET / Ph.D or Master's Degree in Yogic
Science or Yoga with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
Offered Salary: Rs.23,000/- per month.
2. Instructor in Yoga (2 posts)
Education qualification: Master's Degree or Diploma in Yoga/ Yogic
Science.
Offered Salary: Rs.18,000/-
3. Female Fitness Trainer & Male Fitness Trainer:
Education Qualification: Master's Degree in Physical Education with
55% marks.
Optional : PG Diploma/ Diploma in Fitness Mgmt & work
experience in a highly reputed fitness centre.
Offered Salary: Rs.15,000/-p.m
d. Date of Walk-in interview : 25th June 2011
Department : Sports Management & Mass Communication
Positions :Lecturers in Mass Communication & Journalism ( 4 posts)
Education qualifications: NET / Ph.D or Master's Degree in Mass
Communication & Journalism.
Offered Salary: Rs.23,000/- per month.
e. Date of Walk-in interview : 27th June 2011
Department : Administration
Positions : Consultant or Coordinator – He/she will be posted at Ministry of
Youth Affairs & Sports New Delhi.
Education qualifications: Graduation with working knowledge of
computer. Proficiency in typing in English on Computer.
Also the candidate should have work experience of administration
as assistant in Ministry/Autonomous body.
Offered Salary: Rs.15,000/- per month.

Positions : Music Instructor
Education qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Music with 5 yrs
experience teaching music instrument.
Offered Salary: Rs.15,000/- per month.
g. Date of Walk-in interview : 27th June 2011
Department : Health Centre
Positions : Male Compounder/Pharmacist
Education qualifications: Bachelor's degree/ diploma in
Pharmacy/Dispensary.
Offered Salary: Rs.8,000/- per month.
h. Date of Walk-in interview : 23rd June 2011
Department : Health Science and Yoga
Positions : Office Assistants (13 posts)
Education qualifications: HSC or equivalent with typing speed of
35wpm in English & 25 wpm in hindi.
Optional: DCA or equivalent , 2 yrs work exp. as office assistant/
Data operator/clerk. Working experience in Offered Salary: Rs.8,000/- per month.
