Eligibility Criteria for faculty position at MITS gwalior

a. Assistant Professor:
1. First class degree in B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch.
2. Aptitude for Research
Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100+6000

b. Associate Professor:
1. B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with Ph.D in appropriate discipline.
2. Industrial work experience or experience in teaching or research of atleast 5 years(min. 2 yrs post Ph.d)
3. Should have experience guiding Ph.D students.
4. Should have published few journals after Ph.D.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000+9000

c. Professor:
1. First class B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech with Ph.D in relevant discipline.
2. Atleast 10 years work experience in teaching/research/industry (atleast 5 years work exp. as Assistant Professor).
3. If experience is in industry, it should be at managerial level.
Pay Scale: Rs 37400-67000+10000 fixed at a stage not below Rs 43000

d. Assistant Workshop Superintendent
1. B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech with first class in either of the degrees.
2. Aptitude for research.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100+6000

e. Workshop Superintendent
1. First class degree in B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch tih aptitude for research OR
2. Ph.D in relevant discipline with 5 year experience in industry/teaching/research of which 3 yrs exp. should be as workshop superintendent.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000+9000
