Nav Bharat is one of the most famous Hindi language daily broadsheet/newspaper of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

It is one of the oldest newspapers of Madhya Pradesh and the publication of the Nav Bharat precedes even the Indian Independence.

History of Nav Bharat

Late Shri. Ramgopal Maheshwariji a freedon fighter and a journalist by profession, was the founder of Nav Bharat. Nav Bharat was found in 1937 in Nagpur and later the Nav Bharat group splitted up in 2 groups : Nav Bharat(Maharashtra) and Nav Bharat(Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh).

About Nav Bharat

Nav Bharat has been ranked 6th highest among the Indian Hindi Newspapers in terms of readership. Refering to IRS 2009 R1, Nav Bharat(Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh) has about 44.8 lakhs readers.

Published from Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Raipur, Nav Bharat Madhya Pradesh/ Chattisgarh has gained tremendous popularity among the local people of the state.

Apart from cities in MP and Chattisgarh, Nav Bharat is also published from Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune and Nasik in Maharashtra.

The Nav Bharat Madhya Pradesh group publishes a total of 6 editions, one is Bhopal edition and the remaining 5 editions are from Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Chhindwara and Satna. It also publishes an English newspaper called The Chronicle from Jabalpur.
